The cinemas seemed to be jam packed with action films at the moment. Action films are NOT my thing but what IS my thing is sitting down and staring at a screen, eating lollies and sucking back cups of skinny-flat-whites. It is really nice to have a date night each week. I am not going to lie it is an effort to schedule it and actually make it happen. Organising FOUR kids to be babysat requires a fair amount of forward planning. But it’s very much worth it. Especially when we get home and the kitchen is tidy and all four are asleep! Thanks Kristy!
The lastest Avengers… we saw it in 3D. This is probably the perfect movie to view in 3D. Afterall, glass, rock and metal flying at your face is exactly what Mums want at the end of the day! Right?! Anyway, here’s what we thought. Quick review {nobody has time for long reviews!}.
She said: I missed Gweneth Paltrow. I enjoyed Pepper’s character and kept wondering when she was going to enter {especially since they do talk about her}. But she’s not in it. Spoiler alert right there! Its amazing. It really is. Those action shots mustn’t be easy to manufacture and makeup is unreal. Scarlet Johanseen is always a joy to watch. I think the Marvel team do great work and I appreciate all the broken glass and smashing of things… but seen it once, you’ve seen it a gazillion times. 2.5 Stars.
He said: Avengers versus Transformers. Went way too long and wasn’t as good as the first. 2 Stars.
The movie we saw before this one was Kingsman. You can read about it here.
